On reflections

The trees shivered mirrored in cool mossy water
their fallen bits mulching the pebbled deeps
Long -legged insects cat walk over floating twigs
We stood watching the world do a ‘shirsasana’
our noises drowning in a green silence
rea
ching surreptitiously for a sunken moon
