White wagtails (Motacilla alba alba)

I never know whether these little perky tail flicking lovelies are supposed to be called White Wagtails or Pied Wagtails. I met two different pairs at the Al majaz waterfront Sharjah two days back. They are busy little birdies continuously hopping, jerking their little tails up and down and making darting  movements on the grass.

The ones right below have a haphazard black markings on their white neck/chest

The second pair was near the mosque at the other end of the walk. They have a smooth black necklace.
