Superb starlings

The green lawns opposite the Sharjah Ladies Club is the place where a family of Superb Starlings are frequently seen. After several unsuccessful attempts to get a clear photo of these highly unusual and magnificently coloured birds, I got lucky last week. To think that before spotting these beauties, I was unaware of their existence in this part of the world!
