Most of these bulbuls are at Al Majaz Sharjah. The red vented bulbul Pycnonotus cafer is a favourite of mine- a very active bird. A distinctive crimson-red patch beneath its tail gives it its name. A very common bird in the UAE parks.
A surprising fact!! This poor bird is listed as an unwanted organism under the Biosecurity Act 1993 in New Zealand
